This is still only a speculation, because the actual price is yet to be officially unveiled by Chopard, the Swiss luxury house. Nonetheless, we can already safely assume that these sunnies will be the world’s most opulent and most expensive ones yet.
They were designed by luxury glasses manufacturer De Rigo Vision, and then unveiled in Dubai – a perfect location for an extravagant product. Blinged up with 60 grams of 24k gold and 4 carats of River diamonds, these sunglasses offer much more than just protection from harmful rays. They are a statement of luxury and expensive taste.
The 51 dazzling white diamonds were set on the frame using a different technique than the classic pavé method. This special technique allows the gems to be set very close together, thus ensuring a more glamorous shine whenever light hits the surface. As a final touch of sophistication, the sunglasses were adorned with the letter ‘C’ from Chopard.
