According to Ferrari Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, the beloved Italian automaker will continue to bring more eco-conscious supercars to the automotive market. While Luca does not believe in all-electric cars, he is very open to the idea of hybrid motorization. His exact words are: “I don’t believe in the electric cars, but I strongly believe in hybrids”.
As a consequence, he told Bloomberg that the automaker’s fans can expect to see new gas-electric combinations in the future. It is not clear when the sultry Ferrari LaFerrari will get some siblings, but we like the idea of new fuel-saving supercars flaunting the Prancing Horse logo. LaFerrari is limited to only 499 units, and each one is priced at over 1.120.992 Euro ($1.5 million), but we know nothing about the future hybrids.
